These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Hawke’s Bay Respiratory and Sleep.

We provide specialist respiratory and sleep-related assessments, consultations, and related healthcare services. All services are provided in accordance with professional standards and clinical guidelines.

2. Appointments

  • Appointments are required for all consultations and services.

  • You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information at the time of booking.

  • We reserve the right to reschedule appointments if clinically or operationally necessary.

3. Cancellations and Non-Attendance

  • We request at least [insert timeframe, e.g. 24 hours] notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Late cancellations or failure to attend may incur a fee.

4. Fees and Payments

  • Fees for services will be advised prior to or at the time of your appointment.

  • Payment is required in accordance with the terms communicated to you.

  • You are responsible for any fees not covered by ACC, insurance, or third-party funding.

5. Referrals and Clinical Responsibility

  • Some services may require a referral from a healthcare provider.

  • Information provided by you or your referrer is relied upon for clinical decision-making.

  • Our services do not replace emergency or acute medical care.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on information provided outside the scope of our services.

  • Nothing in these Terms limits rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where applicable.

7. Privacy

Your use of our services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
